Imagine a sandy beach, pick up one grain of sand. That grain represents our sun. Now pickup a handful of sand. This represents all the stars visible from our little planet. How many stars do you think are represented by the whole beach? Ten galaxies? The universe? Wrong, its just our galaxy, The Milky Way.
