Aliens and UFO's
It’s been 60 years since the term “Flying Saucer” was first used. In 1947, Kenneth Arnold saw something whilst flying his plane over Mount Rainier in Washington. He reported this sighting to the press, but passed almost unnoticed. Two weeks later the world famous UFO story unfolded in Roswell, New Mexico.

The National Archives is displaying previously classified files on UFOs. They include this diagram, whose author believed alien craft used decoy methods to avoid detection, carrying not humans but “fallen angels”. Other diagrams detail UFO’s including one diagram from two police officers as seen through binoculars back in 1984.
